Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : PCU Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Columbia, SC Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), every other weekend, float as needed Unit : CC003517 COL - Nursing 4E (DMC), patient ratio 1 : 4 Facility : Acute Care Hospital, Level III Trauma, 304 staffed beds Charting System : Epic Key Notes : Travelers may float within scope if needed Interdisciplinary support : PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Transportation, Unit Secretary Job Overview : Provide PCU nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity telemetry / stepdown unit. The RN will monitor patient conditions, manage acute cardiac, respiratory, neuro, GI, endocrine, and post-op care, collaborate with the care team, and deliver safe, high-quality care.
