Family Medicine APP Opportunity located in Montour Falls Schuyler County Rural Health Clinic. This is a full time, health system employed Family Medicine APP position with a competitive base salary and incentives. We have a full complement of medical and surgical sub-specialty service lines to support our growing healthcare network including ample support from physician, nursing and support staff. Cayuga Medical Center is also home to an Internal Medicine residency program.

Description :

• Experience with Family Medicine Required
• Experience with Pediatric Patients Preferred
• Well adult / child physical exams, No-fault insurance exams, Workers Comp exams, DOT physicals, physicals for surgical clearance
• Lesion removal
• Nebulizer treatments
• Punch biopsies
• Allergy injections
• Cryotherapy for wart removal, superficial foreign body removal
• EKG, route lab tests, diagnosis and treatment for common acute and chronic health problems
• Immunizations (including the VFC program), and other minor procedures.
• Standard minor medical office procedure equipment

The purpose of the Advanced Provider is to assist the physicians of the practice with clinical activities, surgeries and other direct patient care including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work under the direct supervision of practice doctors.
