The Business Systems Analyst II plays a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and validating solutions that align with our organizational goals. This position involves collaborating with business stakeholders, the IT delivery team, and external vendors to gather and synthesize information effectively.
This role offers the flexibility to work from home on select days, following the hybrid work schedule set by regional leadership. Candidates must be able to report to the Zenith office weekly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Employ various techniques including interviewing, requirement elicitation, process modeling, and analysis sessions to complete business and system requirements analysis.
- Identify and analyze business needs while exploring opportunities to solve problems effectively.
- Clearly document business and system requirements that convey the necessary functionalities and capabilities.
- Provide options and recommended solutions to address business challenges.
- Create and update functional user documentation for new features.
- Perform basic queries to analyze and validate application data storage.
- Assist in developing basic functional designs based on business needs.
- Test new features and fixes to ensure optimal system performance.
- Create simple mock-ups as necessary.
- Prepare and deliver clear communications, documentation, and presentations.
- Utilize logical reasoning to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions.
- Collaborate effectively with others and maintain a positive demeanor in the workplace.
- Accept constructive feedback and direction proactively.
- Carry out additional duties and projects as assigned.
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training / experience required.Experience :
1+ years of relevant experience required.Experience with Agile software development preferred.Previous experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferred.Familiarity with billing, invoicing, payroll reports, and financial audits is an advantage.Experience with audit software like Ausum, Insurity, and other premium audit tools is strongly preferred.Skills and Abilities :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in analysis processes and tools.Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and influence discussion on simpler topics.Effective written communication tailored to the audience.Intermediate presentation skills.Proficient in MS Office applications.Experience with SharePoint, Jira, SQL Developer, and Visio is desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking.Strong prioritization skills in managing work requirements.The expected salary range for this position is $68,884.30 - $99,882.24. Salary will be adjusted based on relevant experience and geographic location.
