Job Description Summary : The general role description : This position plans, supports, monitors and directs multidisciplinary projects across OhioHealth to drive Quality and Safety improvement projects. Works to support and direct OhioHealth System-wide compliance related to quality, safety and regulatory (e.g., CMS, Departments of Health, specialty accreditation) requirements. Translates quality, safety and regulatory data into meaningful information and effectively communicates critical information to leadership and other key stakeholders to improve decision making and performance. Provides high quality project management and analysis for a broad array of clinical and operational issues. Forms effective working relationships with cross-functional partners, including hospital leadership, service line leadership, and clinical guidance councils. Applies health system-specific expertise, industry best practices and knowledge of internal and external performance challenges to recommend and lead improvements. This role is focused on Patient Safety initiatives specifically. It supports the standardization of event reporting review, safety event classification, and appropriate analysis of safety events. It provides onboarding of new patient safety associates (and managers and directors to support the team) to the standardized processes, supports the patient safety peer group and inter-rater reliability processes, mentors associates through onboarding and standard work, identifies and monitors metrics of success for the quality of the patient safety program, supports systemwide projects related to patient safety concerns, works with the event reporting system for optimal tracking of safety events and improvements and submissions to the PSO, supports coverage when needed, and other related tasks.

Bachelor's Degree (Required)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health field required. Licensure or credentials in your field of study required if applicable (for example, RN, PharmD, RT, etc.). 3- 5 years of experience in health care quality, patient safety or regulatory management required
