WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Family-owned for over 100 years, our client is a construction supply leader. They offer quality products, exceptional service, and have a 400,000 sq. ft. warehouse, extensive delivery fleet, and friendly staff.

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operator drives a forklift to pull orders, loads and unloads trucks, restocks materials and helps with customer calls by performing the following duties.

PAY : up to $22 / hr for well-qualified candidates.

SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm

OT and schedule changes are possible during the busy season. Flexibility with hours is desired.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives forklift (propane)

Provides exceptional customer service

Pulls orders from pick tickets

Unloads and loads trucks

Restocks inventory

Inspects forklifts

Cleans warehouse

Assists with ordering stock

Counts inventory

Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of recent work history in a warehouse environment with 6 months of working Forklift experience.

Basic math functions

Able to consistently stand, move, bend, and lift to 50 lbs during the entire shift.

Ability to positively and professionally interact with customers and coworkers.

Comfortable working on multiple projects intermittently and moving quickly between tasks with minimal supervision.

Must have a high awareness of safety at all times

Able to work in all weather conditions, possibly loud noises, and moving mechanical equipment.
