Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Start Date : As soon as credentialed
  • End Date : One year from start date
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday,

Scheduled / Elective Cases : Tuesdays and Wednesdays

  • Coverage Type : Unrestricted call during the week and every other weekend

    • Clinical Details

  • Required Procedures : Isolated CABG, CABG / AVR, AVR
  • Provide team support for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, etc
  • Call : Unrestricted call with on-site response within 30 minutes
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Support Staff : APP with First Assist capability, anesthesia with TEE capability for OR, perfusion, first assist, cardiac nursing, and clinic staff

    • APP and Pulmonary Critical Care can provide weekend rounding support

  • Patient Volume : 100 pump cases

    • Requirements

  • Active IN license
  • IN DEA & CSR
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Ability to provide case logs if needed
  • CV must be in Month / Year format
  • Must have license in hand at time of submission, or proof that the license application has been submitted
  • Any gaps greater than 30 days will require an explanation on the CV
  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
