Work Schedule

Part Time : 20 hours per week

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
  • BLS certification required at the time of hire
  • Current NM licensure
  • Your Responsibilities

    As an Outpatient Occupational Therapist, you will :

  • Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function, occupation, and developmental disorders.
  • Understand growth and development principles across the lifespan of patients.
  • Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by leveraging external resources to maximize independence.
  • Coordinate and communicate with interdisciplinary teams involved in patient care.
  • Align treatment efforts with discharge goals established during initial evaluation and throughout care.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and rights throughout the care process.
  • Provide care across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health environments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
