$275 to $300 per hour

About The Position

Practice Setting : Inpatient

Patients : Up to 36 inpatients (28 adults, 8 adolescents) among 3 psychiatrists

Average Daily Census : ~26 patients

Support Team : 3 Psychiatrists, 10 APPs (You will supervise 2)

EMR : Cerner

Other Resources : Onsite lab and pharmacy

Job Responsibilities

Inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents (ages 8–17) and adults

Medication management, therapy collaboration, and discharge planning

APP supervision (chart reviews, order co-signing, clinical support)

Working Hours

Shifts : 8 AM – 5 PM

Shifts per Month : Varies based on need

Clinic Days : Monday–Friday OR 7-days

On Call : Every 3rd day (Daytime only : 8 AM – 5 PM)

No overnight call!

Job Requirements

Board Certification in Psychiatry – Required (Can accept Board Eligible)

Fellowship Trained in Psychiatry – Required

Iowa Medical License or IMLC Eligibility – Required
