Staff Engineer - Backend

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer - Backend Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to backend architecture and services, balancing hands-on development with team coaching

Provide technical leadership, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring high-quality delivery across initiatives

Drive the adoption of generative AI tooling across the software development lifecycle to enhance workflows

Required Qualifications

Proven technical leadership experience in startup environments, particularly in high-scale SaaS

8+ years of backend development experience, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems architecture

Hands-on experience with modern infrastructure and tooling, including PostgreSQL, AWS, and CI / CD pipelines

Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate engineers through structured feedback and coaching

Experience driving the adoption of emerging technologies, especially generative AI tools
