Position : Part-time Paramedic (20 hours per week)

Shift : 12 hour shifts 7 : 00am-7 : 00pm or 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am

Experience :

Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent experience.

Education :

1. High school graduate.

2. Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent.

3. Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program.

Licensures / Certifications :

1. Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

2. Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse.

3. Current driver's license valid in Pennsylvania with copy on file.

4. Current Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc / American Red Cross) and ACLS certifications with copies on file.

5. Hazmat Awareness, and EVOC / EMSVO all are required.

6. Other certifications are encouraged, such as : NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, Firefighting 1 or equivalent.
