Travel Medical Lab Technician - $2,202 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Medical Lab Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift : Mids, 3p-11 : 30p (5x8's) Every third weekend : (Sat / Sun) Weekend schedule includes one 12-hour shift and a half shift during the following week to equal 40 hours. Job Summary : -Instructs patients in preparing for tests that require fasting. -Answers patient questions regarding the tests. -Maintains equipment and investigates problems with equipment. -May assist in teaching Clinical Laboratory Science students and Pathology residents and training of new employees. -May monitor daily operation of laboratory section or work area. -May participate on teams or individually perform special projects / assignments. -Performs a variety of routine and standardized tests using standard techniques and equipment. -Prepares specimens, resolves specimen problems, and performs analytical tests. -Labels and stores specimens. -Prepares reagents and assists in the preparation of standard and control materials. -Monitors levels of reagents and assists in maintaining supplies. -Records results of tests and maintains records. -Provides test results, reporting deviations from the norm to supervisor or ordering physician.
