Charleston Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Operating Room Registered Nurse Healthcare Setting : Main Operating Room, Level I Trauma, Academic Teaching Facility Location : Charleston, SC (South Carolina nursing jobs) Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shifts : 3x12-hour night shifts per week (18 : 30 – 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530 - $1640 Holiday Rotation : Required to work at least one holiday period Weekend Requirement : Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks On-Call : No call required Floating : May float within scope to meet facility needs Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred) Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact RN license (must be active before start) BLS certification required Radiation badge (provided by agency) Experience in Level I Trauma Center preferred Scrub nurse experience strongly preferred First-time travel nurses accepted EPIC charting experience a plus Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures : trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC Float to similar units as needed Participate in holiday and weekend rotations Follow facility policies and emergency protocols, including hurricane season procedures Why Choose Charleston for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
