• Job Description
• AECOM is seeking a Sr. Transportation Highway / Roadway Engineer to be based in Sacramento, CA.
• Job Responsibilities :
• Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.+ Approves and signs off on work.+ Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.+ Presents complex technical solutions to clients.+ Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.+ Participates in development of technical proposals.+ Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
• Qualifications
• Minimum Qualifications :
• BA / BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California+ Expertise in developing design packages for highway and / or roadway improvement projects in Northern California (must include some Caltrans project experience)+ Experience preparing technical specifications in Greenbook and / or Caltrans format+ Minimum of ten years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility+ Proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation, InRoads, AutoCad and Civil 3D+ Desire to develop Marketing skills+ Able to assist in proposals and presentations+ Participate in professional organizations representing the company.+ Excellent written and oral communications skills

Permanent residency sponsorship is available for current H1-B visa holders in the United States.+ #LI-EM1Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $107,000.00 - $197,000.00.
