About The Position

Job Title : RN Cath Lab

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 8.5 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required

License : Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state medical board required prior to hire date.

Certifications : BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date or job transfer date required.

Must-Have : One or more of the following credentials required :

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, and ARRT-CV also accepted
• Advanced Life Support preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred

Description :

Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.

Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.

Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.

Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angiography, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist.

Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

Respond in 30 minutes during call shift.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.
