Freelance Direct Response Video Editor (Beauty, Skincare & Wellness)

We’re hiring a freelance direct response video editor who knows how to make content convert. You’ll create fast-paced, performance-driven ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts across beauty, skincare, and wellness brands.

You understand how to hook viewers in three seconds, build tension, and drive action. You’re fluent in direct response frameworks, know what a winning creative looks like, and can quickly iterate based on performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos optimized for Meta ads and other paid social
  • Build variations to test hooks, CTAs, and scroll-stopping intros
  • Transform UGC, founder clips, and testimonials into high-performing assets
  • Collaborate with creative strategists to scale top-performing ads

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience editing direct response ads (beauty / wellness a plus)
  • Expert in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
  • Deep understanding of paid social performance metrics and creative testing
  • Fast turnaround and ability to deliver multiple variations
