Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Augusta, GA 30901 (Georgia healthcare job) Unit : Cardiac Telemetry Unit (16 beds, adult / geriatric population) Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : April 6, 2026 Duration : 18 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 (with 36 or 48 hour guarantee) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1660–$1700 Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Floating : Required to float to other Cardiac Telemetry or similar units as needed Charting System : Epic (required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State (must be in hand at time of submittal) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry RN, or acute care nursing BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Proficiency with Epic charting system (required) Ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips (no titration) Strong skills in telemetry, EKG, and Doppler use Experience caring for adults and geriatric patients with post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease Willingness to float to similar healthcare units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required Ability to work major holidays as scheduled during the assignment Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 16-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to arrhythmias, and manage post-MI and heart failure patients Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide care for central and peripheral lines Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid response teams Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide safety and quality initiatives Float to other Cardiac Telemetry or similar clinical units as needed Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Experience the best of Georgia nursing jobs in Augusta while making a difference in cardiac care.
