Compliance Auditor
Compliance Auditor for a Global Hospitality Company. Duration : 6 month contract with potential to extend out to 2 years. Location : Memphis, TN 38117 (Hybrid; in office Tuesdays + Wednesdays). Hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (1-hour lunch). Pay Rate : $16.00 / hour + contractor benefits (not including PTO). Paid Training Provided.
Global Distributions mission statement is to drive customer acquisition and profitable demand through an industry-leading network of partner channels. The Distribution Services team plays a critical role in The Client, Global Distribution, and the Global Sales Organizations (GTIR, 3rd Party Distribution, and Business Travel Sales). We create automated solutions that aid in the execution of the retail compensation component of The Clients partner agreements with Online Travel Agencies, Travel Management Companies, Meeting Planner Companies, and key accounts globally. The Third-Party Compliance Team audits contracts & meetings to ensure the brand standard is met.
Responsibilities : Self-starter with ability to work without immediate supervision, using own initiative with 'can do' approach, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The auditor will use their learned program knowledge to work through high volumes of data and email, and proactively identify items for review and trends : this will require meticulous attention to detail, the ability to understand and interpret a high volume of data and make recommendations where appropriate. The auditor is expected to identify improvements and support process changes as we seek opportunities to drive operational efficiencies. Use Microsoft Excel at a beginner level to use basic functions : Filter columns, create workbooks, etc. Work & collaborate with other teams within Distribution Services. At times, create and maintain documentation of end-to-end process, to work as a guide as the 3P team is constantly refreshing our processes. Will work with Manager, Third Party Compliance to build out a more robust compliance program. Comfortably & efficiently communicate with on-property hotel leaders, hotel ownership, and other stakeholders. We are seeking a problem solver who is comfortable working in at times a high-paced environment. The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills. Makes great use of their time management skills to prioritize, excel in meeting deadlines, communicating results, and recommending improvements.
Qualifications : 1-3+ years of professional experience. Excel (basic). Strong attention to detail. Has worked in an office setting. Strong, professional communication skills.
