CNC Programmer / Machinist (3 - 6 month Contract)

Barnes Aerospace MRO East Granby has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a CNC Programming Engineer (Contractor) with a solid background in En who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced work environment. The CNC Programming Engineer (Contractor) will execute activities associated with the development, application and maintenance of manufacturing standards for the manufacturing processes. If you are a disciplined and collaborative individual with demonstrated understanding of Lean who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver results, you may be an excellent candidate to join our team.

Core Responsibilities :

• Lead turning (lathe and VTL) programming development, instruction, and debugging tasks in collaboration with Process Engineers and machining leads.
• Directly support operations with NC programming changes to address issues as they come up.
• Directly support NPI development with new NC programs.
• Work with Process Engineers with CAD model development and validation for milling and turning operations.
• Work directly with Senior Engineering staff on various engineering initiatives.
