Truck Operator

Workers will operate company owned or leased trucks that bring company product from the fields of operation to the packing facility in Sidewinder Farm Felicity, CA and deliver them daily to the packing facility in Aguila, AZ. A valid U.S. Commercial Drivers License, or equivalent is required. All packing facilities for this contract are located directly adjacent to or on the same property as the worksites / farms. Two months of driving experience in any of the commodities listed. Worker must have / be able to obtain and maintain throughout employment a valid drivers license : Class A CDL or equivalent. Must comply with all applicable requirements of USDOT regulations. Must pass a post-employment road test to gauge driving ability. Employer uniformly conducts a post-employment DOT physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check at no cost to the worker. Must have proficiency in English to communicate, read / comprehend traffic signage, and interact with roadway officials. All delivery drivers will be able to return to their residence or employer-provided housing within the same work day. Employer-paid post-hire, random, upon suspicion and post-accident drug testing required. Any worker who declines to take or fails a mandatory drug test will be terminated.
