Senior Manager, Warehouse

Responsible for the management of all warehousing and distribution operations for the brewery.  This will include shipping & receiving, dock and yard management, mobile equipment, warehouse labor, Laser Guided Vehicles, and production line support.  This role will manage site deliveries, raw and packaging materials, finished goods, and sub-components, the result of which is measured by financial results.

Know-How : Progressive knowledge of concepts and business processes and how they can be applied or integrated into the business​

• Collaborate with operating departments on production planning and scheduling
• Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments necessary to sustain operations
• Warehouse space planning to forecast future plans and needs to adjust space allocations
• Intense review of process to continue to look for process improvements
• Responsible for a fleet of about 30 laser guided vehicles
• LGV operation, troubleshooting and optimization
• Development of WMS and YMS systems including inbound and outbound shipment interfaces
• Collaborate with Quality team to ensure Hold and Rework processes are performed effectively
• Manage all recycle and waste management systems and service contracts
• Provide a service-oriented function of timely & proactive communication and reporting of inventory issues to the customer service team
• Plans, implements and monitors the day-to-day operations for the plant warehousing function, including analyzing operating data and reports, determining manpower needs and monitoring adherence to standards to ensure business plan objectives are met or exceeded.
• Develops, audits and controls department budget and ensures that operational costs are within plan. Manages the purchase and / or leasing and maintenance of all material handling equipment
• Manages assigned staff of up to 40, including involvement in the recruitment and selection process of new employees, assigning work, providing training and development, evaluating performance, and building a motivated, effective team
• Establish and enforce strict safety guidelines to avoid human, forklift and LGV incidents
• Actively leads the evolution of a robust MAB Quality and Food Safety Culture by reinforcing the importance of Good Manufacturing Practices and protecting the quality, food safety, integrity and legality of MAB products and processes.
