Adjunct Instructor - Cybersecurity

Job Description:

The Information Technology division at Horry-Georgetown Technical College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor for Cybersecurity. The instructor is accountable to the department chair for the fulfillment of his or her function, responsibilities, authority and relationships, and for their proper interpretation. The instructor may assign to members of the organization appropriate portions of his or her responsibility together with corresponding authority for their fulfillment, but may not delegate or relinquish his or her responsibility.

Advertised Salary: Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related area or a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area plus three (3) years’ experience. Professional certification in an appropriate major may be accepted in lieu of Master’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities require the following:
2 of the following Certifications:
CCNA
Security+
Network+
CYSA
Certified Ethical Hacker

We also require the following: Python and SQL capable, Teaching Experience in the face-to-face and online formats, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
