Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team. This position offers flexible opportunities to work in a variety of settings based on your interests and strengths. Available settings include :

While you are not required to work in all these settings, we are happy to tailor your caseload to match your preferences and areas of interest.

    Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and overall mobility in pediatric clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific goals and needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve mobility, independence, and participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.
  • Educate families and caregivers on exercises, activities, and strategies to support progress at home.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Specialize in areas of interest, such as orthopedic rehabilitation, neuromuscular disorders, or assistive technology, based on individual career goals and client needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapy programs.

    • Qualifications :

    For Physical Therapist (PT) :

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in Delaware.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.

    • Additional Skills :

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
