Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults only (100%) Patient Volume / Census : 15-25 patients (can really vary) on average each day Admissions : Average 0 while on call Rounding : Supported by APPs during the day Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General Urology No. of Beds in Hospital : 380 Trauma Level : Level III EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : Standard (TBD) Specialty Backup Available : APPs, hospital support staff Support Staff Available : APPs during the day for rounding and consults Reason for Coverage : Turnover vacancy Hospital Privileges Required : Yes (Full Privileges) Temporary Privileges Available : Not specified Credentialing Timeline : 90 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (mileage, airfare, lodging, parking, rental car, ground transportation) Lodging Cap : $150 / night (no incidentals; Syncx preferred hotel list provided) Rental Car : Mid-size cars (AprNov : $50 / day cap; DecMar : Mid-size 4WD SUVs $75 / day cap) REQUIRED PROCEDURES General Urology procedures (specific list not provided) Licenses : Pennsylvania (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license) Board : Board Certified in Urology DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : ACLS Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty Other Qualifications : Comfortable with outpatient clinic + 24 / 7 call coverage Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage (light patient volume) Be available for 24 / 7 call during scheduled week with 30-minute response time Collaborate with APPs who round and manage consults during the day Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR system
