Summary
RNDC is looking for a rockstar Portfolio Manager to join our team. This role will be overseeing the development and management of the fine wine divisions to achieve company sales and profit objectives.
In This Role, You Will
Establishes, recommends, and implements strategies, objectives, policies and plans for the company's wine sales program, in addition to coordinate statewide chain objectives. Develops and administers the budget for the sales program. Evaluates and controls performance to plan. Responsible for the realization of division objectives for sales and revenues. Will create and utilize comprehensive sales plans that analyze competitive trends, gains and other activities in order to devise effective counter strategies and tactics. Provides current information on trends and new products within and outside current portfolio. Travels to sales territories statewide to monitor field activities and gain perspective of current market conditions. Develops and maintains customer relationships within the marketplace. Interacts with suppliers in the market and provides updates on product successes and possible future opportunities. Plans and develops the annual sales forecasts by product line and region, as well as plan and develop the various aspects of sales meetings. Execute and participate in various meetings of sales program. Recommends advertising campaigns and performance incentive programs for the sales department. Analyzes past sales performance data in order to develop and initiate strategies for improvement. Engages in the more difficult negotiations (as support to sales representatives) to develop new business and resolve the more critical problem situations affecting the sales program. Possession of and operating a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.
What You Bring To RNDC
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; five or more years related experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a current, valid state driver's license. Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company. Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (i.e. TABC License Texas).

Compensation
The salary generally starts at $125,000 up to $135,000, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience.
