Certified Surgical Technologist

Dean's Professional Services is Seeking : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location : Katy, TX

Pay : $39 / hr

Shift : Mon / Tues / Thurs / Fri - 10-hour shifts ( 8-hour shifts can be requested but not guaranteed; Friday is mandatory )

On-Call : 5-6x per month ( must live within 45 minutes of facility while on assignment; negotiable )

URGENT - CST Needed for ASAP Start! Must have CVOR experience.

Position Summary

The Sr Surgical Technologist performs complex operating room support, including assisting in open heart, vascular, robotic, and thoracic procedures . This role works independently, exercising sound judgment, and reports observations and patient issues to the licensed nurse or surgeon. In addition to surgical duties, the Sr Surgical Technologist mentors and guides other technologists , helps train new staff, and ensures non-nursing functions are carried out safely and efficiently. Requirements

BLS Certification - Required

National CST Certification - Required

Minimum 2 years of OR experience

Proficient in Open Heart, Vascular, Robotics, and Thoracic cases
