Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.

Required Education :

ASN

Required Certifications & Licensure :

Illinois state RN License in good standing

BLS (American Heart Assoc.)

ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Duties :

Provides comprehensive nursing care for CVMS patients, including post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgeries, by performing assessments, implementing and adjusting care plans, and ensuring patient and staff safety. Maintains accurate documentation, upholds unit standards, supports professional development, and ensures a clean, organized work environment through proactive communication and hourly patient rounding.
