What You'll do
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring all assigned projects
- Communicating effectively during daily interactions with clients to interpret their requirements and needs
- Working with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs
- Assisting in estimating projects which the company is bidding
- Assisting in the coordination of the procurement of materials, supplies, and services. Controls timely delivery to job site
- Preparing and managing the project installation plan and prepares and implements job procedures
- Supervising and monitoring the performance of field techs and subcontractors
- Closing out jobs including completing the engineering portion of all paperwork, ensuring POs are completed, Notice of Completions (NOC) is sent and jobs are turned over to operations for closeout
- Submitting reports on project status
- Monitoring compliance in all aspects of the project as applicable
- Continuing training and development by studying literature and attending seminars to stay current with regards to products, processes, and materials
- Troubleshooting existing systems and assisting in installations as needed.
- Addressing job site challenges by re-engineering the planned solution on the fly in coordination with the lead engineer
- Understanding the engineered solution and providing input as needed to the lead engineer

2+ years in the audio-visual industry with a manufacturer, rep, or integratorPossesses advanced knowledge of :Audio, Video, Video Conference, and Control systemsAssociates Degree or equivalent level of experiencePerforms each essential duty of the position satisfactorily and in a timely mannerA proven track record of project management successExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to self-motivate and self-manage time to maintain project timelines, benchmarks, and deadlinesBasic computer skills including common applications such as Outlook, Word, and ExcelAdvanced construction / handy-person skills. Understanding of tools and ways to professionally install hardwareValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel as neededOur ideal candidate would have the following preferred requirements :
Bachelor's degreeLimited Energy Electrician LicensePMP certificationCertified in installing copper and fiber optic infrastructures3+ years experience in the AV installation or Telecom Cabling industryMay have had previous experience under the job titles of : Install Technician Level 2, Cabling Team Lead, AV Field Engineer or Cabling ForemanEntry level knowledge of AV and Wireless systems design, operation, and installationFormal training in cable installation and terminationA / V manufacture certifications such as : CTS-I or CTS-D NSCA or CediaWho we are
