Recovery Coach
Purpose : To promote and contribute to a culture of recovery in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of a Recovery Plan
- Provide individual and group coaching, counseling, mentoring, instruction, training, feedback and positive reinforcement for the participant in areas outlined in their Recovery Plan.
- Educate participants on evidence-based practices which includes illness management and recovery, mental health, co-occurring disorders, supported employment and family psychoeducation.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence.
- Provide trauma informed treatment as relevant to the needs of the participant.
- Develop and link participants with community resources.
- Participate in collaborative meeting with staff.
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time as required by JFK and Community Behavioral Health.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, supervision and CEU courses as determined by JFK, regulatory agencies and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Standards of Practice.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor of Arts or Science DegreeExhibit an understanding of the principals of recovery in clinical practice.Have at least one year work experience in mental health direct care.Schedule : Monday through Friday : 9 am to 5 pm
Location : Center City Philadelphia. JFK is a short walking distance from central transportation sites including Suburban Station and the Broad Street Line.
