Proficiency in Swift : The primary programming language for iOS development Knowledge of Objective-C : Useful for maintaining older codebases Experience with iOS SDK and APIs : Understanding of frameworks like UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation Familiarity with Xcode : The integrated development environment (IDE) for iOS development Understanding of RESTful APIs : Ability to integrate with web services Full-Cycle Mobile App Development : Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying iOS applications Version Control Systems : Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub UI / UX Design Principles : Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Communication Skills : Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly Attention to Detail : Ensuring high-quality and bug-free code Certified iOS App Developer : Validates proficiency in using Swift and building iOS applications Meta iOS Developer Professional Certificate : Covers essential iOS programming concepts and tools Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field $85-87 / hr on w2
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain high-quality iOS native mobile applications, focusing on both engineering new features and ongoing maintenance.
- Implement new user interfaces and features, ensuring seamless integration with existing architecture.
- Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests to support robust app functionality.
- Collaborate closely with a candid, collaborative team, sharing knowledge and advising on best practices in application architecture and emerging mobile technologies.
- Write clean, well-organized, and high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and practices.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high coding standards and application efficiency.
