Pride Health is hiring a

Specimen Technician

to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in

Irving, TX, 75063.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Irving, TX, 75063

Schedule :

4 am - 12 : 30 pm (40hours / week)

Pay Rate :

$18 / hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Roles & Responsibilities :

Perform duties in a high-volume production environment while meeting established productivity, quality, and turnaround-time standards.

Accurately enter data at a rate of approximately 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes per hour.

Work safely in a biohazard environment, following all safety, compliance, and infection-control procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Sit or stand for extended periods as required by operational needs.

Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and staff at all organizational levels.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Adhere to organizational core values, policies, and procedures.

Show flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

Work Experience :

No prior experience required; previous laboratory or production-environment experience is preferred.

Basic computer proficiency required.

Knowledge of laboratory testing and / or specimen processing preferred.

Medical background preferred, including familiarity with medical terminology used in a clinical laboratory setting.

Prior hospital laboratory experience is a plus but not required.
