Our Surgical Services team plays a critical role in ensuring excellent patient outcomes in complex surgical cases. The CVOR CSFA Tier 2 supports surgeons and the surgical team by providing safe, efficient, and skilled assistance during operative procedures. This role reports to the Nursing Care Manager of Operating Room.

Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department) :

• Hands-on experience with advanced surgical techniques including Thoracic, Vascular, and Open Heart procedures. - Knowledge of aseptic technique, infection control, and safe patient positioning. - Experience in harvesting vein conduits, providing hemostasis, suturing, and applying sterile dressings. - Critical thinking and adaptability in high-acuity surgical environments.
