Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified Sr DLP Security Operations to work Hybrid with our client, a top-tier global automotive company.

Job Summary

We re looking for an experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist to take ownership of our global DLP program developing policies, tuning systems, and monitoring activity to prevent unauthorized access or transfer of sensitive data. You ll work closely with IT, Security, and business teams to ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen controls, and respond quickly to incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve DLP initiatives across on-premise, cloud, SaaS, and endpoint environments.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to potential data loss events.
  • Develop, update, and enforce DLP policies and operational playbooks.
  • Administer and fine-tune DLP tools for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and protect timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Leverage threat intelligence to adjust controls to emerging risks.
  • Document incidents and produce reports for audits and continuous improvement.
  • Provide after-hours support for urgent incidents as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, and network security fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of DLP concepts and technologies.
  • Practical experience with one or more platforms : Symantec, Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, Forcepoint, McAfee, Digital Guardian.
  • Understanding of data classification (PII, PCI, PHI, IP) and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, SOX, PCI-DSS).
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, log analysis, and common security technologies (firewalls, VPN, IDS, EDR, AV, proxies).
  • Preferred Skills

  • Endpoint, network, and cloud DLP expertise.
  • Policy development and tuning.
  • Insider threat detection and incident forensics.
  • Strong security engineering / architecture background.
  • Ability to communicate security risks effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Education

  • Bachelor s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
