Job Description

NEW Permanent X-Ray Tech Opening - Southern Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities :

Perform general and specialized diagnostic X-ray procedures (e.g., OR, trauma, complex portable studies)

Obtain and document patient history, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety

Operate digital imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and troubleshoot PACS / EHR issues

Mentor and guide other technologists; collaborate on quality improvement initiatives

Maintain radiation safety and participate in departmental projects such as QA testing or workflow standardization

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED required

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience

ARRT certification in Radiography or a related modality (e.g., Cardiac Interventional, Vascular Interventional, Radiation Therapy) required

BLS certification required

Proficiency in positioning, image quality evaluation, and safe patient handling
