Job descriptionLead complex accounting functions and oversee intercompany transactions Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting across multiple entities Develop a deep understanding of business operations, financial systems, and general ledger structure Accurately record intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly Collaborate with internal teams to investigate intercompany issues and ensure accurate financial statements Manage fixed assets and maintain accuracy within the fixed asset module Prepare and analyze intercompany reconciliation reports for management review Perform month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Identify process improvement areas and implement best practices for intercompany reconciliation workflows Support ad hoc financial and accounting projects when required Assist with and provide backup for bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and continuity Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited institution 35 years of hands-on experience in general ledger-focused accounting roles Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Effective time management skills with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset Experience with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred Skilled in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Familiarity with intercompany transactions, reconciliations, captive insurance programs, self-funded medical plans, and multi-state sales tax filings is advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Comprehensive Medical Coverage Dental and Vision Benefits Generous Paid Time Off Potential for Performance Bonuses
