Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a results-driven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead performance and reliability improvements across our Dallas facility.

Summary :

This role is pivotal in optimizing manufacturing systems, enhancing food safety, and driving cost-saving initiatives. You’ll be the go-to technical resource for lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and operational excellence in a high-volume bakery environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the facility’s continuous improvement program using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies
• Develop and execute reliability improvement plans for equipment and personnel
• Facilitate mindset training and problem-solving workshops for operations teams
• Support startup and testing of packaging materials and equipment
• Provide technical input for capital projects and new product commercialization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, R&D, Sales, and QA
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure annual savings targets are met
• Support food safety programs and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
• Maintain documentation and reporting for CI activities and KPIs
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and fact-based decision making
