POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Pharmacy Technician will have a primary technician role and additional responsibilities that include overseeing workflow and daily pharmacy operations. This position will assist the Pharmacy Manager with daily tasks and special projects. All lead pharmacy technicians will work together to ensure coordination of daily workflow of pharmacy and communicating changes to daily workflow with all pharmacy staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

3 years of retail pharmacy experience.

Required Registration / License / Certification

Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration.

National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.).

Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Education

N / A

Preferred Experience

1 year of experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems.

Preferred Registration / License / Certification

1 certificate from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in a related area.
