Job Title : Sr. Formulation Chemist

Job Description

Join our team as a Formulation Chemist, where you will be responsible for developing chemical formulas for urethanes, epoxies, silicones, and coatings. This role involves application testing, quality control, and working closely with the production team to scale up new formulas.

Responsibilities

• Develop chemical formulas for urethanes, epoxies, silicones, and coatings.
• Perform application testing and quality control tests to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Operate testing equipment such as universal testers, dispersers, viscometers, and durometers.
• Collaborate with the production team to scale up the production of new or specific formulas.
• Assist Technical Support groups in resolving customer issues and providing solutions.
• Complete technical data sheets detailing formulas, production processes, and quality control checks.
• Manage multiple projects weekly, including formula development and application testing.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a chemistry lab developing formulas and utilizing various instruments. Administrative tasks related to projects will be conducted in the office. This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 / 4 : 30 p.m. Collaborate with all levels of the organization. This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00 / yr.
