Tenure Track Assistant Professor Neurobiology

The Department of Biological Sciences at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Cell Biology and a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Neurobiology, each with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Eligible applicants must have earned a Ph.D,  with at least one year of postdoctoral research experience in the fields broadly associated with either Cell Biology or Neurobiology by the date of employment.

The individuals hired will be expected to teach across a range of modalities at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in departmental, college, and university service.  The individuals hired are also expected to develop an internationally recognized and extramurally funded research program, participate in the department’s Ph.D. program, and contribute to the department’s excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Qualifications

Eligible applicants must have earned a Ph.D, with at least one year of postdoctoral research experience, in the fields broadly associated in Neurobiology by the date of employment.
