Tompkins Veterinary Services ("Tompkins Vet") is a privately owned small animal practice located in Freeville, NY. We are looking to add another licensed veterinary technician to our team. We have a very positive workplace culture and are an inclusive, welcoming group. We would love to have another experienced LVT (as we are very busy and fast paced some days!), but we are equally happy to mentor new LVTs and help grow your skill set.
We recently had a second doctor join our practice, and are so excited to be expanding our team and to continue to enhance the services we provide. We are passionate about what we do, our patients, clients, and our team!
We are comprehensively equipped with six exam rooms, in-house laboratory equipment (Idexx), digital X-Ray, ultrasound, dentistry, surgery.
Dr. Lawlis is a board certified theriogenologist (pending publication) so there is an opportunity for learning about reproduction and assisting with cryopreservation of semen, etc if you have an interest. We do more reproductive work than the average practice and get to meet some exceptional and dedicated breeders.
NO WEEKEND or LATE EVENING hours! We are open 8 to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
