Responsibilities Position is based in the Labor and Delivery unit of a short-term acute care Level II Trauma Center Care for patients with over 300 births per month, including a variety of delivery procedures Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 Floating to other units within scope may be required to meet facility needs Patient ratios and weekend requirements will be determined by the facility Epic EMR with required experience, and use of OBIX / Stork charting No on-call responsibilities Responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, postpartum tubal ligations, inductions, cervical ripening, antepartum observations, management of placental abnormalities, triage, fetal surveillance, IV hydration, and cerclage procedures Scrubs are provided by the facility Parking is free in the employee lot Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly on Mondays Modules are not required for this assignment First-time travelers are accepted for consideration All time off requests must be included prior to contract signing Holiday shift coverage may be required depending on unit needs Requirements Active WA or compact RN license, or proof of application at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience, or 1 year L&D plus mother / baby experience At least two completed travel nursing assignments required Current certifications as required for L&D in WA One year of Epic experience required Ability to start and maintain peripheral IVs Fully vaccinated status required Not open to local candidates (must live outside a 60-mile radius) No more than one DUI on record Return travelers must have at least a one-year separation from previous employment with the health system Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614479.
