Job descriptionActive RN license in NY. BLS certification. WOCN or WCEI certification (WCEI preferred for quicker onboarding). Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience. Prior wound care experience strongly preferred. Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM or 9 AM-5 PM. Weekends & holidays optional. No on-call or standby required. Supportive orientation and team environment.
Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Contract)
Bronx, NY | Day Shift | 40 hrs / week | 13-week assignment
Step into a high-impact nursing role focused on wound care in an acute inpatient setting. We're looking for an experienced Wound Care RN to join a dynamic team that delivers specialized care across various hospital units.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage 20+ wound care consults and follow-ups per day.
- Perform thorough patient assessments and place wound care orders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients on treatment and prevention strategies.
- Utilize wound vacs, dressings, and specialized treatments.
