Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Are you a hospital pharmacist looking for a travel opportunity with support? Were recruiting an Inpatient Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in northeast Iowa, with housing provided. The role is Monday through Friday, day shifts, and we wele candidates who already hold Iowa licensure or are open to securing a temporary Iowa license (valid for up to three months while pleting the state jurisprudence exam.If you bring hospital experience, adaptability, and drive, this could be an excellent fit.

Assignment Details

Schedule : Monday Friday, day shifts

Duration : 13?week contract (with possibility to extend)

Start : ASAP

Role & Responsibilities

Perform order verification to ensure safe, accurate medication orders

Supervise pharmacy technicians, help maintain efficient workflows

Consult with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff on pharmacotherapy decisions

Participate in clinical interventions, medication reviews, and follow-up

Uphold hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices

Support inpatient pharmacy operations in a smaller hospital environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

Some prior hospital / inpatient pharmacy experience

Either currently licensed in Iowa or willing to apply for a temporary pharmacist license while pleting required exam(s) (Legal Information Institute)

Strong clinical judgment, munication skills, and adaptability in smaller settings
