Seek to train for the 5th Hand position on the paper machine crew.  The 5th Hand assists with end-winder operations of the paper-making process. Also, assists the beater room and machine crew during paper breaks to ensure optimum runnability.

ProAmpac's Norfolk, NY site is a 24 / 7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty graft Paper from 100% recycled material.  This position works a 12- hour rotating swing shift, a uniquely designed schedule that allows for the benefit of working (on average) fifteen 12-hour shifts per month, leaving fifteen non-workdays, with seven that are consecutive.  This equates to one week off per month without skipping a paycheck. No more than four 12-hour shifts are worked consecutively during the cycle.
