We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automotive systems, and demonstrate proficiency in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on GM vehicles, including but not limited to engine repairs, transmission work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to ensure accurate assessments and repairs.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with service technicians to streamline processes and enhance overall service efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians in areas such as automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Master Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diesel engine repair.Proficiency in vehicle maintenance practices and auto estimating processes.Ability to effectively use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.Join our team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work and strive for excellence in every vehicle serviced.
