Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Stress Analyst Engineer to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

Responsibilities

• Perform structural sizing and structural integrity evaluations using agreed analysis methods
• Write technical reports that are accurate, clear, and comprehensive to be peer reviewed by other analysts
• Be proactive in learning new skills, taking on new assignments, learning analysis methods and procedures
• Assist the senior analysts in developing standardized analysis methods and preparing for technical interchange meetings or program reviews
• Maintain good communication with peers and leads when onsite or remote
• Support test preparation, execution, and reporting results to validate and verify components meet requirements and specifications
• Think ahead and ask questions. Making mistakes is acceptable if we understand and learn from them. Focus on fixing problems when they arise and not placing blame
