Job description

Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Care Assistant, where you will play a vital role in assisting our providers in delivering exceptional patient care.

We are looking for a team-oriented individual with a positive attitude who can efficiently complete assigned tasks. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient satisfaction are essential for this position.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program; or
  • Six months of on-the-job experience; or
  • High school diploma with proven competence in dental assistant responsibilities.
  • Current dental assistant license may be required in certain states.
  • Proficient in managing dental records and documentation.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Compliance with established protocols and standards.
  • Familiarity with dental instruments and terminology.
  • Alignment with our shared vision and values.

    • Responsibilities

    Essential Responsibilities :

  • Master and follow proper sterilization, biohazard, and infection control procedures according to protocol.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and appropriate tray setups.
  • Perform all chairside procedures with efficiency.
  • Facilitate patient flow effectively through teamwork and communication skills.
  • Conduct necessary lab procedures as required.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with both staff members and patients at all times.
  • Utilize supplies and equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Contribute to the office in achieving defined goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
