Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Critical Care - $115 to $130 per hour in Hershey, PA

Job description3 shifts per week (13 hours each) 7am-8pm or 7pm-8am rotations Includes weekends and major holidays Block scheduling - group shifts together to allow long stretches off Assignment runs through December - consistent opportunity VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, cardiac transplant Arterial and central lines Swan-Ganz catheter placement IABP removal Daily management and post-op care of critically ill cardiac patients PA license (no IMLC accepted) Board Certified in Critical Care Minimum ACLS and BLS certifications Prior CVICU experience required Must be comfortable with high-acuity cardiac procedures Estimated timeframe : 60-90 days No temporary privileges available Facility does not cover licensing costs Nearest airport : Harrisburg International Travel and lodging provided per policy Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice. Continuously learn and grow by adapting to various clinical environments, enhancing your skill set and versatility. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives during locum assignments, contributing to medical knowledge advancement and evidence-based practice. Prevent professional fatigue by changing environments regularly, avoiding the monotony of routine practice. Transition between full-time, part-time, or locum roles as your personal or professional circumstances evolve, maintaining career fluidity and adaptability.
