Civil Litigation Attorney (Early Career)

Overview

We are proactively seeking Litigation Attorneys with experience representing public sector entities in civil litigation. This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity supporting Epiq Counsel clients. By joining the Epiq Counsel roster, you will be considered for future in-house engagements aligned with your expertise and preferences. We are actively seeking Litigation Attorneys located in the New York metropolitan area with the following qualifications :

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 and up to 6 years of post-bar experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings, briefs and motions.
• Experience performing discovery and document review.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience arguing motions.
• Experience negotiating settlements.
• JD Degree from an accredited institution.
• Active member of the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Must be registered with the NY State Office of Court Administration.
• Admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of NY.
• Must be willing to work on-site in an office located in Manhattan.
• Compensation commensurate with experience.
