Job Details :

Work as a licensed professional using the nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery

Focus on specific patient populations and health conditions related to cardiac catheterization procedures

Use nursing process to assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses

Assist patients to transition through healthcare encounters without preventable complications or delays

Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient conditions

Participate in rotating after-hours call with required Sunday rotation

Weekend schedule to be determined by facility

Must have 2 years of RN Cath Lab experience required

Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath / EP Lab setting preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Texas nursing license required (must be active at time of submission)

Must provide skills checklist less than one year old and two supervisory references from within the last year
