Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Tallahassee, FL for a Paving Superintendent. The Paving Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing paving operations, managing work crews, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on-site. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and troubleshooting on-site issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in paving operations, heavy highway construction, and drainage construction
• Knowledge of project management, including scheduling and coordinating work crews
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve on-site issues quickly and effectively
• Previous supervisory experience in construction or related field is beneficial
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
